RAD Lab is a UCSD lab that researches ASD (Austism Spectrum Disorder) through eyetracking video. At RAD Lab I asssited on a research project that utilized Pupil Labs eye-tracking glasses to track eyemovements in real-time. Through a game of Taboo, subjects with ASD were recorded for their ability to make neurotypical eyemovements to social interactions and objects. The project was mainly used to measure the subjects who had been training with RAD Lab's video games, in hopes that results of improved eyemovents would translate to real-world interactions.
A assistant research scientist at the UCSD's Institute for Neural Computation, Leanne Chukoskie conducts research on Austism and its development through RAD LAb. She generously lends her expertise and time to advise students in her lab as well.
